A quick sunset dash to Finlaggan after returning from Jura, then a power walk to Eilean Mòr, which was the seat of the Lords of the Isles and of Clan Donald. Also situated on the isle is the site of Finlaggan Castle, accessible from a wooden walkway.
I've been on Eilean Mòr before but never at sunset, it is certainly more atmospheric at sunset, in sub zero temperatures, surrounded by the tombs and the history.
